Y-clubIn 9th grade, I participated in Y-club. Y-club was a great experience, and it was a great way to give back to the community. Some of the things we did in Y-club include: showing firemen our appreciation by feeding them and writing them thank you notes, recycling almost all of the paper at our school, and babysitting when our school had our grandparent's auction.
In 10th grade, I we donated to the nursery home, sold donuts to raise money for our school, gathered money for our lunchroom ladies, wrote letters to the firemen again, and much more! |
Bocce ballAlso, I participated in helping with our annual Bocce Ball tournaments. For more information on how I helped with this terrific event, go to Special Olympics.

National Honor SocietyI got initiated into National Honor Society during my Sophomore Year. National Honor Society requires each participant to have four qualities: character, service, leadership, and scholarship. Each participant is required to have two hours of community service per semester and one hour of school service per semester.
